If it should be green rust then it's toxic. Any material containing Copper causes this when it comes in contact with acids and/or sulfur.

ff is fine, maybe not as nervous like in the g25, but when you set it up properly you can feel every bump in the curbs easily. Mine is packing in after about 5 years of use and I'm saving money for the fanatec bundle...
Pedals are sturdy and never break, the potis are doing fine ever since, no spikes or such you might get from a logicrap wheel.
You CAN modify the joystick if you want to, the force feedback program seems to only let you shift the programmed routed ways, you don't have to get aluminium plates or such.

Thrustmaster RGT pro clutch might be the cheapest wheel with a more than decent pedal set you might want. You get it for 70€ here. Then go to ebay, get a used force feedback joystick for less than a tenner, combine it with some software routed shifter gadget and you're done.

At least they can't when sitting in an American Pimpmobile with no windows, 3 automatic gears, a machine that produces 300hp but 290 of them are taken away for powering gadgets, and the weight of a Greyhound bus.
Now add some stupid music so the video runs completely silent, do a couple of donuts and there it is: THE perfect stereotype.

The uphill thing really depends on throttle position more than revs.
A modern engine only injects the amount of fuel it can really use, but accelleration/keeping speeds at a hill is never economical. Drive in a gear high enough so you don't have to press the loud pedal through the floor, and low enough so your engine doesn't sound like Iron Maiden (haha, Runnn toooo thääää hiiiiiiiiilllllls). This will keep your engine powerful enough to get up without burning fuel by high revving or full throttle motor stutter.
For coasting it depends on where you are. if you roll up to a red light and there's a long distance to go, then neutral. If you have to break ou you are on the way downhill then the engine can brake without any problems.
During engine braking no fuel will be burnt (theoretically, in reality you burn 0.000whatever litres per 100kms) but oil will still flow through the system.
The engine IS there to brake as well and it can withstand a lot of it. No motor has ever broken down from engine braking that hasn't been already broken in some way. Especially here in the Alps you ruin your brake pads in no time if you try to go down a pass just on your wheel brakes!
The chatter about having more control when not in neutral is a bit off... If you are a hoodie with a Civic driving like a nutcase yes, you want to have more control :-) Same for Tristan e.g., he's constantly just under the limit, he needs to balance his car with everything he's got.
But in normal life, at reasonable speeds there is no need for a gear when you approach a corner or so. Except for when you have to brake, then again use the engine together with the pads.

Well, he HAS done all of what you stated here, and for that alone he gets a big thumbs up from me personnally. And looking back in history I have to admit tinvek is absolutely right.
Obama started something, now he gets the price and he MUST continue making America a better behaving country.
BTW: I've often criticized more than half of the americans for voting bush into his second period, I have not yet congratulated them for getting the right one in place. Congratulations ladies :-)
